CPAA strives to be a recognized and valued supporter of professional planning education in Alberta.
The Community Planning of Association offers a maximun of three $1000.00 scholarships to students who volunteer and/or attend the Association’s Alberta Annual Planning Conference.
You are Invited! To our first virtual CPAA Student Meet and Greet! 3:00 - 3:45 PM, April 7, 2021

At this event we will talk about the work of the CPAA and municipal planning opportunities for students across Alberta and introduce our 2021 Conference and opportunities for students to participate and win Scholarships.
This Year’s Conference will be held online May 3-5, 2021. The theme of this year’s Conference is : Take the Initiative! Exploring Innovations & Resiliency in Community Planning. and the link to the full Conference information and speakers can be found on the CPAA website www.cpaa.biz
Student registration fees are $50 for CPAA student members but six names will be drawn from the students registering for our April 7, 3pm Meet and Greet for FREE Conference Registration. So please register at the email address highlighted above and participate.
Students participating in this May’s CPAA Conference are eligible to the CPAA Student Scholarship Essay Contest with three $1,000 Scholarships to be won.
Information on the Essay Contest will be available at our meet and greet on April 7.

CPAA Tom Baldwin Memorial Graduate Scholarship in Planning – this $1000/year scholarship is in honour of a past chairman who passed away suddenly. It is administered by University of Calgary Scholarship Committee.
