The Community Planning of Association awards, on an annual basis, four $500.00 scholarships to students who register and actively participate in the Association’s Alberta Annual Planning Conference.

In 2008, applicants were required to:

Attend and participate in the CPAA’s 2008 Annual Alberta Planning Conference and submit a three page report describing:

  • What community planning means to them and how they see their future contribution to it;

  • Their most valuable experience at the 2008 Conference and its contribution to their understanding of community planning needs and issues in Alberta; and

  • How the theme of the 2008 Conference: “Planning Regionally; Planning Reasonably” helped in their understanding of community planning.
